“My story…” is a project I worked on with Adriaan van der Hoeven (Director) and Michiel Steenwinkel (Camera / interviewer). Different people, young and old, share there own significant story. Stories about major events, problems, addictions, bad relationships, accidents etc. that changed there life completely. The stories are meant to be an inspiration for others in similar situations and to give hope!

I was photographer in this project. With every guest I did a photoshoot before and after the interview. I tried to make the pictures as personal as possible within the theme “looking for hope”. With sometimes a strong contrast between vulnerability and strength.

A MTV leader made with Cinema 4D. I tried to experiment with lighting, texturing, experimental forms/animation, camera angles and a heavy post production.

An experimental short made on the theme “The space between”. It’s a journey of light with a strong constant direction.

All the lights used in this video are shot with the Canon 550D and then looped, edited and sometimes color corrected in After Effects.

Sounddesign/music by Laurens Goedhart. Every element in the music is linked to a specific light. With this combination we’ve tried to accomplish a certain rythm and flow in this journey.
